Day 04 Incredible India!!

25 August 2009
Wake up call was at 630 am. I went out for a short walk behind the guest house to the apple farm, in the hope there would be some opportunity shoots of the local farmer. I wasn’t disappointed.

I was even offered free apples by the farm owner.  I left beautiful and friendly Manali at 0930 hours  forKeylong. En route to Keylong, I stopped by a small town, Mashi for a short landscape shot.

I stumbled across a herd of sheeps with its owners. Maybe I should thanked him, but he said it to me first…lol

and another thing I learned,  love is blind and knows no skin colors.

Rohtang Pass came into view ,

Though there were horse riding on offering, I didn’t seem to take a liking to this place.
I reached Snowland Hotel at almost sundown. I had a ‘quick’ dinner at the hotel. The vegetarian fried rice and hot lemon I ordered only came in an hour later.  Rice served was cold too. Ewww!!. I wondered if they brought in the food from some place else.
A little art piece of the moon shot before I wash up for the day.

While having my shower close to 11pm and wet with soap, the water suddenly stopped. Gosh!!!! Luckily Stan managed to get me a pail of water from one of the hotel worker. What a luck to end the day!!
